Using your Dental Insurance Coverage
The year has already flown by and before you know it, it'll be Christmas and you still haven't used your available dental coverage through your insurance, FSA (flexible spending), HSA (Health Savings) or HRA (Health Rehimbursement) accounts. It is important to plan ahead to make sure you are getting the most out of your coverage before it restarts at the end of the year. Don't wait until the last minute to book your appointment! November and December is the busiest time of the year at the office of John P. Goodman D.D.S., LLC for several reasons. One, due to Holidays and Weather closings it's sometimes more difficult to keep or schedule appointments. Two, many people rush to book their last-minute appointments to use up what is left for their HSA, FSA, HRA, or any other insurance coverage.
Take off your end of the year stress by scheduling your appointments NOW (even if it is dated for October) to allow yourself plenty of time for your General, Restorative, and/or Cosmetic dental requirements. If you haven't already scheduled your regular six month cleaning, try and make it in before October. Not only do we run a lot of specials in the slower seasons of Summer and Fall, but you will also allow yourself plenty of time incase you need further dental work. You want to take optimal use of your health and dental coverage by scheduling your appointments before your time is up!
The office of John P. Goodman D.D.S. LLC is open Monday through Thursday 9:00am to 6:00pm and every third Saturday of the month from 8:00am-1:00pm for those that cannot make it in on weekdays. If you have never been to the office of Dr. John Goodman before or have a new insurance company, make sure you contact your dental insurance provider to ensure we take your insurance. Our office is a preferred provider for Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta Dental, and Guardian. We also take Aetna, Assurant, MetLife, United Health Care and and many more although we are not a preferred provider for. We do not accept HMO plans, medicare, or medicaid at this time. If you do not have insurance, feel free to schedule a consultation anytime without hesitation so that you can plan for your future dental expenses.
Also, if you're a new patient you should plan for spending about an hour with us to ensure that Dr. Goodman has ample amount of time to meet all of your needs. If for some odd reason your dental expectations could not be met at our office, Dr. Goodman will provide you with the best referral possible for your dental or health needs.
