Description

This long time patient, Monte shows the dramatic transformation of a Restorative Cosmetic Smile Makeover. The before images emphasize areas of severely worn and broken teeth. On Monte's initial visit for the restorative treatment, Dr. John Goodman treated each tooth by removing the decay and prepared for Dental Crowns and Bridges. Impressions were taken and a customized shade was chosen by the patient for the lab to construct the final restorations. Acrylic temporaries were placed for two weeks until Monte's final Porcelain Crowns and Bridges were seated. Once placed, Dr. Goodman critically checked the alignment and the bite to ensure Monte's comfort. It is very common for Full Mouth Reconstructions to feel odd for a short period of time. As the mouth becomes accustomed, gaps or spaces between the gums and Porcelain Crowns will fill in. Years later, Monte is still very happy with his crowns and has them checked two to three times a year in his routine cleaning and examinations.
