Laser Gum Treatment: Patient #2

Description

This patient was treated by Dr. Goodman for Porcelain Crowns on his four upper front teeth. Looking closely to his before photo, the extra gum tissue can produce limitations to the final appearance of the tissue surrounding the planned restorations. This patient opted to have the tissue lessened to increase the fit and appearance of his new smile. Dr. Goodman removed the excess gum tissue in minutes with his state of the art laser, and gently shaped so that the tissue can heal and form with the Porcelain crowns naturally. The gums also have returned to a normal color as shown in the final image. This patient reported experiencing no pain or discomfort, although some may have some temporary mild soreness following this procedure.
