Why Kansas City Patients Choose Dr. Goodman
for Full Mouth Reconstruction

25+ Years of Complex FMR Cases
Full mouth reconstruction is not a single procedure; it is a coordinated multi-procedure plan, and the planning is where complex cases either succeed or unravel. Dr. Goodman has spent more than 25 years performing FMR plans in Kansas City. The pattern recognition that comes from that volume of complex cases shows up in the sequence of treatment, the choice of materials, and the call on which procedures are worth doing now vs. later.
Diagnostic Wax-Ups Before Treatment Begins
Dr. Goodman uses photography and diagnostic wax-ups to show you what the finished result will look like before any procedure is scheduled. You see the plan in three dimensions, not as a verbal description. The wax-up is a planning tool, not a sales prop: it lets us refine the case together until you are confident in the direction before treatment starts.
A Financial Coordinator Who Works With Your Insurance
Full mouth reconstruction often combines restorative procedures that insurance partially covers with cosmetic procedures it does not. Our in-house financial coordinator works directly with your dental insurance company to maximize coverage and minimize the out-of-pocket portion. You leave the consultation with a written plan and a transparent number, not a surprise at the front desk.
See What's Possible

After years of living with severely worn and broken teeth, long-time patient Monte chose to move forward with a full mouth reconstruction. Dr. John Goodman removed decay, prepared each tooth, and fitted Monte with custom porcelain crowns and bridges. Years later, Monte is still smiling and visits us regularly to keep his results looking their best.
“Exceptional”
“Dr Goodman does exceptional work. He has helped me redo several crowns on several teeth that were 10-15yrs old and he always does them in a timely manner as gentle as possible. And don’t even get me started on how friendly and accommodating his receptionist is!”
The Full Mouth Reconstruction Consultation
During your consultation, Dr. Goodman will thoroughly assess the health of your mouth. Every case is customized to address the patient's concerns and meet their smile goals.
Photography and diagnostic wax-ups may be used to help patients visualize possible results and help us refine your plan. In some cases, a consultation with an oral surgeon is included if tooth extractions, dental implants, or gum surgery are a necessary part of your treatment plan. If periodontal disease is present, we will make a plan to treat it before you receive restorative work to minimize the risk of infection.
Dr. Goodman has more than 25 years of experience performing complex full mouth reconstruction treatment plans. If you are ready to take the first step toward achieving your new smile, contact our dentistry office online to schedule an appointment.

"Honestly incredible."
Moved here from Chicago and very happy Dr. Goodman was the first dentist I saw here in KC. The staff was super friendly, communicated well, and didn’t try to upsell or do any unnecessary work. I really felt like the center of care
View on GoogleDr. Goodman and his staff were honestly incredible. I’ve never been to a dentist that’s taken his time to talk me through recommendations, and had the best interest of the client in mind. I would absolutely recommend him! Probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had.

The Cost of Full Mouth Reconstruction
Because full mouth reconstruction treatment plans are highly customizable, patients need to come in for a consultation for an accurate quote. In fact, no two treatment plans are exactly the same.
Potential price ranges for some of the most common treatments include:
- Porcelain Crowns: $1,500-$1,650
- Dental Implants: $3,000-$5,000 per tooth (plus surgical cost)
However, because a full mouth reconstruction is a restorative dental treatment, insurance may cover a portion of your expenses. Our financial coordinator at our Kansas City practice will work with your dental insurance company to get as much coverage as possible to limit your out-of-pocket costs.
Who Is a Candidate?
Anyone who has experienced significant oral health issues can benefit from full mouth reconstruction. This personalized plan can address many concerns that affect the mouth, such as:
- Tooth decay
- Tooth loss
- Fractured or broken teeth
- TMJ disorder
- Bruxism (chronic grinding and clenching)
- Bone or tissue loss
- Misalignment and malocclusion
How Long Does Treatment Take?
/
Because each treatment plan is designed around the needs of the patient, every full mouth reconstruction will be different. The procedures recommended for you will determine how long your overall treatment takes to complete. During your consultation at our Kansas City dental practice, Dr. Goodman can offer an estimated treatment timeline.
"Life changing."
